Hi, I'm toying with the idea of having a vts conversion done on my car. Has anybody got any ruff prices on what I would be paying. When I do the conversion I'll be 20 but wont have any no claims. ??
Cheers

Yeah man, its gonna depend on location and NCB, if you have non, its gonna be pretty pricey if anyone will touch you?

You 'could' end up paying more for a conversion than just buying a VTS

A lot of companies will not insure you on a conversion which means the quotes you will get will be limited to a few companies and the chances of one of these being the cheapest will be slim

Unless you are 21+ with at least 1-2 years NCB then I wouldn't bother, keep your current engine until you can afford to get and insure a VTS

I agree with Devil, i done a comparison site with 1.4 Furio, any mods 'yes' Engine Conversion and got about 3 results, all around £4500

To be fair though, price compariosn sites aren't the best for non-standard car insurance.. speak to a specialist insurer.

I wasnt really looking into it hard, just to get an idea.

But as said, probably better off buying a vts...
