Got a haro 540 mirra bmx when i was 16. took it apart when i first got my car when i was 17 to respray it but never and its been sat in my garage since. im now 24 lol :l decided to sort it out finally :D just thought id post up a few pics of the progress so far. need to get pedals, chainring and headset and tires at the weekend but honestly cant decide on tire colour! Any help, crit advice appreciated. what ys reckon :P ? nobody say its gay lol :homme:

I used to love my old Schwinn BMX (ive actually still got it tucked away in my shed). Keep up the momentum now mate lol after the many years break on this project. Id go for classic black tyres or possibly black with a white wall.

Skin walled would look best. Those bars look horrendous, I hope it's a trophy bike which you ain't planning on riding lol :)

get smaller bars there too tall for the frame imo, tyres wise are you going to be on a bmx track or street? if street and ya going for mid/old skool then look for these pretty hard to get hold of these days but i think there a really good tyre
