Thought I'd put up an asw thread for my new CRX..

My Civic shot a rod, and I can't be arsed to pay even more to fix it again, it's getting broken for parts. So I needed something to drive in the mean time.

Cost me £800, FSH, T&T, with 282mm brakes and pov spec coilovers.
Just needs a bit of bodywork and it'll be mint..

Is sooo much nicer to drive than the Civic, far comfier. Not as quick, but it's definitely not as slow as its reputation makes out.

To do is.. Get my EG's bucket seats in there, get some spacers, adapt the Civic BYS lip to fit, new oem rear lights (has horrible 'carbon' lexus lights atm :n:), replace the roof, and get an aftermarket zorst.

Don't knock it til you've tried it ya cheeky bastard :P

Pulls nicely all the way up to 120 and pushed a Leon FR along. So can't be too bad!

A friend of mine has an eg vti and an sir del sol. The civic felt faster, but the del sol has an lsd. That handled very well on coilovers even with 4 shit steelies! I'd like a civic, but they are like rocking horse shit to find in good nick with a b16.

Nah it'll be a better daily than the EG.

Is it a JDM or UKDM?

Aye the Civic is about 100kg lighter than a Del Sol, so will be a bit quicker.

Wouldn't mind an EG VTi, but they're so expensive now because there's such demand for em.

Is UKDM.. Insurance on an SiR was an extra £450ish per year for only an 8bhp difference.
Had to take whatever I could get with the budget I had n all, overlooking spec + the horrific colour

Good ol' vtec! I think i'd swing towards an Integra, but they're expensive aswell. I think i'd only have a jdm dc2 though. Not keen on the round headlights!
