Hi
on my saxo rear lighting board there is definitely space for 4 bulbs
a twin element covering braking + sidelights
one for reverse
one for indicator
and one - i assume - for fogs
they are identical on both sides
i have bulbs in all 4 slots
yet i have no rear fog lights when i turn the switch on?
the dash light illuminates but nothing at the back
why??????
please help
thanks

IIRC one side has a reverse light and the other side the fog light. Check bulbs, connections and look for corrosion on the board that holds the bulbs in.

Yep, sorted it again
Just scraped some corrosion off
Any ideas about getting a 'dual fog light' setup?

Dual fogs would mean losing the reverse light hence MOT issues - probably not worth it. But if you want to go ahead you may need to get a light off a left hand drive because they have fog light on the oppposite side from our cars. You will also have to do a bit of wiring from one light to the other to make both fogs come on and disconnect the reverse light feed from the bulb holder.

I had dual rear fogs and dual reverse lights on my mk1 1.1, i always had the o/s fog and just put a bulb in the other side too and it seemed to work

I have a twin filament bulb for side and brake lights
Then reverse on both sides
But I have space for both fogs, but only my drivers side illuminates
I wouldn't lose the reverse then surely?
