please ONLY reply in here if you are 20 with a vts, :P i just want to know what you are paying for insurance at 20? because im 20 soon and i want to know what you lot are paying? and wht to expect:afro:

i got quoted 2700 fully comp when i was 20, i waited a month till my 21st, and now paying £1100

well im payin 1900 tpft at the mo so im hopin to get it cheaper and f/c when im 20, plus ill have 3 yr no claims

im 20 , and looked into vts, cheapest i could get, fully comp was 2300 :(

i am 20 with 1 yrs ncb and i put my mom oon as a named driver and i have being qouted £900-£1000 fully comp but i am gnna wait till i am 21 then see what its like

How do you get insurance on a vts for £700.00 :shock: . I am 22 with 3 years no claims and i am pay about £870.00

what? i am 22 with 1 years no claims and mine is £520, maybe its the area you live mate

It is in Longbenton, just outside of Newcastle like. If anyone knows it, they know why i am paying that much. Still seems a bit steep tho. May have to try looking a bit harder next time insurance is up.

unlucky mate i'm 21 now and its 520 quid it must be the area you live in i live in one of the lowest crime rated areas of the uk and have had a vts engine in my car since i was 18/19

if you change your engine to a VTS from a VTR. and declaire it. Is it more in insurance than a standard VTS would be ?

yeah i think it is. wen i was 20 i was payin about £750 on a vts, thats wiv no years no claims bonus aswell, coz i lost mine wen i wrote off the vtr.

and thats lowered with alloys and air filter declared.

darnt declare the cams but i only found out it had cams by accident as the seller never mensioned it i just found out when i was bored and took the cam covers off to see kent cams hiding away!!!

thought it was a bit quick!

admiral are supposed to be good.

my mate was insured on his 106 gti at 19 paying 1800 tpft
