:y:on satutrday im going to be getting my car machine polished it looks fine now once clean but thought id treat it for the summer. Just wondering what can i use to keep the car tip top ofter the machine polish? and what are these clay blocks everyones on about lol

Basically clay is what it says it is...clay, it removes stuck surface contaminents from your paintwork. Should definately either get it done or do it yourself before the polish is done, get a much better result IMO. real simple to do just have a quick read up! Bilt hamber is a good one to go for, only needs water as a lubricant aswell.

If you are having it machine polished, I hope they clay it first. When you get it back I would give it a clean!! Then get a couple coats of wax on it.

Whos doing the work for you mate?, If its anyone decent they will give you the info you need on claying, maintenance etc...
