Hey I bought my saxo VTR couple weeks ago and the lad i got it from said the cv boots split on the o/s front wheel but up until now the drive of the cars got worse and im sure its something else breaking.. when i pull off slowly with full lock the wheel clonks n grinds till i pick up speed and its ok but putting the accelerator down makes the steering wheel pull to the left qiute bad and when i let go of accelerator i can hear like a constant squeek like a rusty hamster wheel sound..

ive been told a lot of solutions like its the anti roll bar, tracking bar, cv joint, bearings, drive shaft and to be honest its confusing the hell out of me! someone tell me exactly what it would be? any questions ill answer :)

thanks, Davey.

did you replace the boot? if not thats probably dried out and is causing problems you probably need a new driveshaft

wheel bearing and cv joint by the sounds, but you do need to jack it up
check for play
and look at the CV joints, if they are all ok

then re-assess

then re-assess I had the tyre replaced on that wheel and the guy felt no play in it, can't jack it up myself the cars too low.

Driveshaft isn`t too expensive to replace, check the wishbone as well.
