Hi.
Right, just bought a Saxo with Angels on (Still debating wherether they're cool or not) and I'm wanting to put HIDS on, now because it's a H1 fitment I will only be able to get dipped beam with these on, unless I want to buy two kits. Correct?

Also, do I need 35w or 50w HIDS?

Anyone know any decent 'HID like' looking bulbs that'll look good on my main beam too?

Oh and what are them SMD side lights like on Angels?

Thanks Guyz/Galz.:homme:

For dipped beam I used 55w kit. As for the main beam, it's not used very often to there just standard halogen bulbs, altough, you can get some h7 bulb to replace them
And the side light fitting is a 501 bulb :y:

'apparantly' its not the wattage, its the uv that affects the plastic angel eye lenses

I'm not sure what the 35w or 55w means? Is it that 55w are brighter or is it just that some cars need 55w, as I read online that some newer cars do so they don't display a bulb out light.

I've got 35w ones and they are plenty bright enough, but make sure you get UV protected ones to ensure they are safe for angel eyes, i'm not sure if this is down to the bulbs, the ballasts, or the whole kit but most sellers will know what their kit is.

And yeah they're extremely easy to fit, I assume the H1 are even easier to fit than the H4 kit. :y:

For which bit mate lol?

Theres a seller in the for sale section who seems decent or I can link you to who I got my kit off, kit seems decent although one ballast is occasionally shutting off, so I told the seller and he's sent out a replacement straight away he says, without even wanting the old one back.
