hey guys, newbie here so if i do anything wrong then just keep me right!!

got a problem with my VTS, if your giving it some welly then there is alot of blue smoke out the back of it, usually just after 5500rpm in 3rd, 4th and 5th.

it seems as if the valve stem seals are starting to go or that they are floating due to the extra strain on the engine.

has anyone else had this problem?? any help/advice would be exellent!

cheers guys!

Doesn't sound too good. Blue smoke means that you are burning oil. Sorry thats all I can help you with.

sounds like valve stem oil seals, you get blue smoke but minor loss of oil, its more the vapour going into the combustion chamber and it getting burned.

i thats what i thought. bit of a pisser! have found a company that do head exchanges for £960. port and polished, gas flowed and piper fast road cams. so i think i may have to order myself one of them! :fcuk:
