Cheers mate. I'll sort the courier out when I get home from work today. Ill drop you a PM with my mobile / tracking numbers when this is done.
Since then no contact, pm ignored and his mate was even going to remind him on Saturday evening, no tracking info, no mobile number and more annoyingly no wheels or instrument pod
refund the £80 fella I have had to escalate at Paypal to get my money back and as you know they will refund me !!!!!

I'd expect him to reply to this tbh, he's a fairly active member and very well known on here.
Not everyone can post things right away so if he's not been on try asking in the se section as a few guys will be able to contact him for you.

If you are going to assume everyone is a scammer because they havent been online for a few days why even bother buying on here?
It may be hard to realise but people can have lives in the real world and things happen that are not planned and things may take priority of sending some items.

Brenz read the post i made where did i say he is a scammer because he hasn't been online for a few days?
As you clearly have difficulty understanding the details, i have broken it down to make it easier for you to understand.
So just for you here goes
1. he said he would arrange a courier the next day when he got home from work
2. since then he has been pm'd been online and not replied
3. i have had NO (are we clear thats not any) contact for a week
4. before making this scammer thread i gave him the opportunity to reply several times
5. if you have a problem and can't send but have managed to be online manners would dictate you just say something or perhaps you think he is entitled to just send the items whenever he feels like it?
6. In future read a thread properly and don't make things up as it makes you look like an idiot.
7. If a week wasn't reasonable to wait then why do you think paypal allows to raise it to a claim after 7 days or do you know better than them as well?
8. Everyone who got scammed by tisandy a few weeks ago also claimed as soon as they could (ie after 7 days) were they are wrong to do that (he also had not sent things out)
9. Where did i say i assumed he was a scammer? "the forum title is "suspected scammer"
And lastly what the fuck has it got to do with you where and when i buy items from?

Sorry I disagree if someone takes your money for items they have a duty to send those items as promptly as possible. I mean would you be happy if you paid for yoru shopping online and the supermarket didnt delivery it for 3 weeks and ignored you if you called them about it.?
If someone can't complete the transaction as they said they would the very least they should do is contact the purchaser with an explanation

MunkyBoy seems like a genuine user on here, but on the flip side, if someone's selling something, and THEY say they will give you the details of postage etc, then come online and give no explanation, then i'd be worried too?

I think people should avoid you as a buyer tbh.

Drop the attitude.
Just because Tisandy scammed you does not mean everyone here is out to do the same. If you want instant service - go to a scrap yard and pay extra. Have you seen how much Munkyboy is selling? Give the lad chance to sort it out before you go off on one declaring him a scammer.
Edit - Just read in his for sale thread that he's moved house this week too!! Give the guy a break

Again fella read the thread properly are you having trouble understanding or reading it, would audio or bigger letters help you at all ?
Patience has fuck all to do with it manners is a bigger thing and to tell someone they will courier it the next day and send you the details then ignore you for now 8 days is just plain rude. If he had told me he couldn't send it for at least 8 days i would never of entered into a deal. Just how patient would you like me to be? Please explain why you think people can expect to be paid promptly for something and then send it whenever they feel like or is that what you do and your feeling a bit awkward ?

ok np YOU send me the £80 and get it back off the seller then we will all be happy you seem to have completely ignored the fact that he has been back online since so clearly not too busy moving to do that eh ?
Do you really think that Paypal would allow escalation after an unreasonable time? Nope thats right 7 days so i guess your another smart arse who knows better than Paypal in fact i am guessing from your post you think you know better than everyone, and RE READ his post HE NEVER said he was moving someone else did so we don't actually know thats true do we ?

I waited over two weeks with no contact before, I didn't cry like a little bitch about it.
Several online shops can take over a week and a half to send the item.
Also, he definitely has just moved house.

Clearly, just as you're not bright enough to grasp simple spelling, or the ability to hold a discussion when everyone isn't agreeing with you if you want to descend into pettiness.
All I'm saying is, he's just moved house, things can happen outside of his control preventing him from doing as promised.
And that makes me a lot more patient than you are, waiting two weeks to allow for potential delays in posting/postage, is a proper amount of time to wait and see if you've been scammed..
You can still escalate to a claim after that amount of time.

ah i am glad we are starting to see some light
All I'm saying is, he's just moved house, things can happen outside of his control preventing him from doing as promised.
Although it didnt stop him being online on Saturday evening did it ?
He could of said something like hey tammy cant ship til next week cos i am moving....but THEN oh yeah it is next week and he still hasn't not only shipped but bothered to make any effort to contact me.
If you know him so well that you know for sure he has moved then why don't you give him a nudge and ask him to refund my money. I am guessing you can't read or you only read selectively cos not everyone on here disagrees with me, only people who seem to having some sad, childish need to argue and offer pointless opinions seem to want to disagree. I would suggest maybe a course of counselling, check at your local surgey you can probably get some anger management therapy on the nhs.
And yet all MunkyBoy's feedback (link (http://www.saxperience.com/forum/itrader.php?u=38831)) follows as:
Great guy, done me a HUGEEEE favour!
Perfect, hope to deal again
Hrmmm, seems like a massive problem..

just like to add if you read the visitor messages on monkeyboy's page this is clearly not an isolated case 2 or 3 people never got what they paid
in defence of the seller he hasnt been online since the 18th so must be a reason for that
not that I agree with taking somesone money and then not posting the goods

Not at all, you're making yourself out to look a complete fool. It takes 2 seconds to log onto saxperience. Infact i'm pretty sure my mobile keeps me logged in constantly. So just because it says he's logged in, doesn't mean he's had time to check his messages.
If it turns out that he's a scammer I'll put my hands up and apologise. But as a seller on this forum it winds me up when impatient members like yourself open up disputes on paypal, label people scammers and generally lower your reputation just because an item didn't turn up in one week.
To further clarify my point. I bought a solid VR6 engine mount from vibratechnics (very well known company with a great rep). It didn't turn up for about 3 weeks after they said it would be delivered in one week. However I waited for 15 days before I raised concern. Purely because I know that sometimes things get messed up. I can understand your frustration believe me, but you're going about this the wrong way.

How am i looking like a fool, you are defending someone who has apparently done this before, i must go read the tisandy thread cos i bet you had your two'pennys worth on that thread too, lmao i bet you even defended tisandy the thief ??
All i am saying is, he offered to arrange a courier the next day, he didn't, he hasn't contacted me since and i can't contact him either, so how is that the same as buying from an online company who have a contact page and possibly a telephone number?
I understand you are trying to dig yourself out and backtrack from earlier rash comments you made but give it up fella, I can't lose, in 10 days paypal give me my money back so for me it ends up a small inconvenience but for you defending a potential scammer, i guess it means you look like a muppet ?

Tisandy was a genuine twat, an unknown member and now he's pretending to be a girl on the forum to scam again. Pretty sure my comments on that thread were "stop defending the guy, he's a scammer and you wont get your items so get a claim in" or something alone those lines. I'll stick up for the person I think is in the clear, in this case I believe it to be Munkyboy!
Munkyboy has been on here a while, had a few sales and from looking at his feedback i saw nothing untowards. Highlighting the importance of the feedback feature of the forum!
I've said already that if it turns out he's a scammer I'll apologise and take back my comments, but I stand by my comments about your attitude. It sucks!! I'm glad you're getting your money back - I just think you rushed into this a bit. If it does turn out to be a scam, make sure you leave negative feedback on his profile so potential buyers can judge for themselves if they want to deal with him.

@holdawayt
As a seller if i had paid you for wheels last Wednesday and on a public forum you told me you would arrange a courier the next day then i never heard from you for 8 days (bear in mind i still have had no response from munkeyboy) what do you think i should be saying as the purchaser cos i am interested what you consider impatient ? Also when you send stuff out out whats your normal time frame before sending. 2 days, 5 days a week, 2 weeks ?
holdawayt
23rd June 2011, 09:59
I normally send my items out the day I recieve payment / next day if it's late. With items such as wheels and engine's that require a bit of planning and packaging up it can take a week or so. However I keep the buyer informed and will generally warn them of delays due to size and weight prior to the sale.
I agree he shouldn't have said "i'll send them out tomorrow" if he had no intention of doing so. Sounds like poor organisational skillls on his behalf.
Anyway I have air conditioning units to design - as well as forum detective I'm also an engineer. Will keep an eye on the thread to see the outcome though.

Paypal should give a delivery address.
Please stop suggesting I'm stupid, it suggests insecurities about your own intelligence.

The instance I had before of someone not receiving their item was completely different to this. I posted the small items and a batch never made it past my post office. I never received anything back, or anything back from the post office.
I haven't been online here in a week or so, and yeah - I feel sorry for the guy. But unfortunately my life has been more than complicated.
I'm rushed off my feet at work, my colleagues dad has just died and I'm having to cover two job roles, which means I'm pretty much working 12 hour days.
I'm in the middle of moving house due to family circumstances, and half my stuff is in maldon, and half my stuff is in tunbridge wells.
I appreciate the people sticking up for me in the thread, and I apologise to the guy who bought the wheels - but my real life took major priority over me being able to come online. As a few of my close friends know on here, my mum has a terminal condition and me moving out of my house is so we can have a carer able to stay and look after her. So the move has been quite rushed to get my stuff out of the house, she took a turn for the worse the other night and I had to rush back from tunbridge to be there and ended up kipping on the couch.
I will refund your money, there is no issue with that. I apologise for the inconvenience that I've caused you... but you saying "it only takes two minutes to log on and let you know..." well, I haven't had two minutes to myself at all. My PC is at my new house (there is no internet there) and I'm literally swamped at work.

Can assure you, I wasn't on the forum. My last time was on the forum was saturday morning before I moved house. I haven't had time to breathe, let alone sit on the forum.
I know nobody knew of my problems, I'm not the sort of person to ask for sympathy or be treated any differently due to issues. I didn't have the time / frame of mind to sit on the forum and post up to people... For that, I apologise.
I will get on paypal asap and start a refund for you.
Again, sorry for fucking you around - it wasn't intentional.

Which is why i made a post about some rules being in place for sellers... If you are a genuine seller you will have no problem abiding by some rules that apply to everyone, people need to know where they stand when they buy something and the scammers who do not want to abide by some rules should just fuck off :-)

Say I had an accident on the way to the post office, I get injured, am then unable to get online for a couple of days but then after say, a week, I post it to you, come online to inform you what has happened to find you've put in a claim on paypal and have then been slandering me online?
Learn some patience, give it 10-14 days before you automatically assume you're being ripped off.
+ if you were that desperate for wheels you would have either arranged to collect them or sorted something closer to home.
Well i certainly didn't see one saying it was crazy to start a scammer thread about tisandy within a week

Just to put this a little more in perspective.
You paid:
Date:
15 Jun 2011
Time:
23:47:16 BST
You opened a dispute on paypal against me:
20/06/2011 12:27 BST - Buyer: Dispute filed
So all of this 7 days and shizzle that I apparently didn't contact you for... You gave me (lets not count the wednesday... it was nearly midnight) Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday and then opened the disput Monday morning? Thats two working days if I'm counting correctly?
As i said before, I am trying to refund the money. But you do learn to have a little more patience before jumping in with the paypal bodyguards.

After reading all this... tbh if someone said to me they were posting my item i have paid for the next day or so and 1week had gone by without any contact from the seller i would be asking questions too. Farenough the seller was having problems at home etc but still no reason not to contact the buyer to say sorry mate blah blah to tell him the story and sort it all out etc before it coming to this.
If i was selling somthing and i got caught up with family problems or what not, i would contact the buyer to say whats happening. I have had experience before where i posted the wrong item to a buyer and i didnt relise till 2days after, which i contacted the buyer of the item to tell him which this ended in a refund due to the other buyer not sending the wrong item back to me. Everyone makes mistakes :A:

Just to add to this, what would happen if I was strapped for cash and had to wait for the funds to be transferred to my bank account from paypal to pay for the courier? That takes 3 working days anyway...
So if I had done that, I wouldn't even have had the money in my current account to pay the courier before you'd put in a claim!
But yeah, give it a bit more time next time.
You can't say that Tammy.
You left 2 workings days and a weekend for something to arrive before filing a claim.

i know i shouldnt be really butting in but if you were selling an item that had to be posted surely you would of had £20-30 or how ever much it was in your bank account to pay for postage to get it sent straight away? :S Then having to wait so many days for paypal? Surely you should of told the buyer this which could have stopped him posting this scamming thread so early. Just a thought :D

Tammy - I'm not a friend of Munkyboy. Infact i don't think i've ever spoken to the chap on here. However I have the mental capacity to judge that he's not in the wrong here and that you are being unreasonable. You have no right to quiz him on his personal life. Same goes to you Westgarth - it doesn't matter if the 2 working days included two days of the weekend. He's done everything you asked and has provided evidence. Paypal are aware that he tried to refund you.
Stop being silly little girls and allow the bloke to sort it. I'll be posting a for sale thread later on today. Please do me a huge favour and stay off my thread.
The point is he's tried, he's said he'll try again later.
He also says his mums ill, that's the main concern, not some tit on a forum who can't even wait for more than two working days for something to be delivered.

Are you being serious?
Like, actually being serious?
Did you not see the pictures I posted? I am going through the dispute, then clicking refund you! Hahaha.
I spoke to Paypal, they told me they had technical problems with refunds.
As Rey said, I don't even have the funds. My paypal is now empty again as the money is being held by paypal. I've tried to close the dispute my selecting refund you as an option - if your actually that stupid to not be able to follow the picture I posted up... then I don't know what more else I can do!
I'll try again later sweetcheeks.

I know it wasnt your fault but you could of atleast thought about the guy he had sent you the money for the item and he was waiting for a courier number. Which you didnt respond to his emails, i know it was less than a week but anyone would if you had just been scammed of money less than a month ago you would be warey of the same thing happening again!
Am sure you have a phone with internet which would take less than 5minuets to log on with a quick message to him saying your having problems. Anyone would, its just polite!
Fairenough but still its a public forum and i can have my own opinion :) but still you should of contacted him! Yeah i said IF aswell... :/ 2working days is still with a weekend aswell, if you was having problems you should of told him before and you should of accualy told him they might be a few days later as am sorting out to move house. Which he most proberly would of not continued with the sale as he needed them asap!
Still its your own fault for this thread opening as he didnt get a responce to his emails, if i was in the same boat i would of too! Just to see if anyone else who may be your friend on this site would of given him an answer to his questions why you havent been online etc or somone could of given him your number to call you to see what was going on. Thats all am saying :D :homme::boxing::hug:

Your comments as per usual are full of horrible spellings and stupid illogical comments. You even had the audacity to tell someone they were stupid and needed to use common sense, and spelt sense wrong. How on earth you can stick up for Tammy is beyond me. Munkyboy is clearly in a very tough situation, not everyone has internet on their phone, and he's doing the best he can to get this resolved yet you still criticise him. It beggars belief. He's already demonstrated the utterly ridiculous level of impatience Tammy poses, so you need to open your eyes and learn to be a bit more reasonable. Anyway, I'm done with you. I'll look forward to your threads about how you're failing uni and cruising around with your rock hard boyfriend overtaking OAP's and beeping at them and then driving in a threatening manner, chav.
Wow, are you that slow that you had to think about who it was that was insulting you this time?
Ryan
23rd June 2011, 13:37
And enough.
For now I am happy munkeyboy is trying to rectify the situation. All those jumping in sticking their noses in are not really helping especially if they are that deluded that they think that dealing with a seriously Ill parent isn't a priority in life.
To the op the rules you keep going on about in threads are fine, if you read them it states how both the buyer and seller should protect themselves.
It wasn't great the seller couldn't contact you and didn't but once it was explained about the personal problem and he was trying to refund you I failed to see where there were further issues.
You do need to get some patience however if you raise a claim after 5days of payment. Scammers have been around alot longer than tisandy and ink hewit was one of them people didn't go over the top like that.
EDIT: Sent to me by munkeyboy.
