Im wondering, has anyone ever took apart their doorcard &stripped it to the plastic and painted it? I reckon it would look the sex as a gloss finish, not fabric.

Also how do i get my rear lights like these, I cant afford new ones :(

I have spent time thread searching as I know rethreads are annoyin, doorcards = fail and lights = all I find is tinting, is this what I need to do? Simply paint my lights?

In advance i thank ye

Yeh for the lights you can buy tint spray, they might sell it in your local Halfrauds but they dont sell it at mine.
I bought some off Ebay, about a tenna.
Cant help with the doors though, i know you can get plain plastic ones (on some furios i think) them possibly sand that down and add a couple of layers then gloss etc etc.

Unless you are very patient dont try ripping the fabric off your door cards. Underneath is a thin layer of foam which you will need to sand off to get down to the plastic first.

Best bet it to try and find some plastic ones and then you only have to sand them slightly and paint them.

Re-face is for puff's and pansy's. Real men use upol easy sand 7 and learn how to put it on right.

It is pretty hard to get them tinted in the way you see those. So witch no experience, you might end up at the same price with material, as if you would have bought them straight away. Thats why i also saved up a bit and ordered mine finished.

These lights are not hard to tint like this at all. All you need is a roll of fine line masking tape and a roll of 2 inch and a tin of tint spray.

Use the fine line tape to go around the white part all the way around and take your time. Once outlined fill the middle in with 2 inch tape then give a tickle with 1500 wet and dry then clean the light with nail varnich remover.

then spray the tint untill you get the tint you like then leave to dry remove the tape and job done if you want them super glossy give them a coat of laqure. No way would i pay for them tinting its a job that any one can do with very little skill and knowledge.

But then he might have oversprayed them and they would be not road legal anymore.

But then he might have oversprayed them and they would be not road legal anymore.

But then anything can go wrong. Man up take a risk everything can be fixed only takes a whipe with thinners to remove tint hardly the end of the world. Why pay for some one to tint them when it will cost 15 quid max for everything to get a good finish.

Because for a guy who never used a can in his live, it saves up a lot of headache. It is never like give me a can and i do it. He has to prep them, tint, laquer. Inbetween something can go wrong and then he hast to start over and over, until he gives up.

If you dont try things you never learn.

Thats right, but still he needs to sum up all stuff he needs to do it by himself, after that he might give it a go. The first try always costs money.
