Dont buy the 6x9's. Or that amp.

Buy a set of 5.25" components for the front and a 2channel amp to run them off mate will sound SO much better.

Have a spy through this some top notch advice in here on what to buy :) http://www.saxperience.com/forum/showthread.php?p=3084540

JVC is awful other than headunits
Sony is just plain awful.

Thanks guys, i've read through that post and taken your advice so i've decided to go with some component speakers(http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gt5-500c.html) and a JBL amp(http://www.caraudiodirect.co.uk/jbl-gt5-a402e.html)

Can anyone foresee any problems that will pop up before I order? Cheers:y:

Cheers, was going to be for the sub too but i'm guessing it won't be enough.. Would it do until I could afford another one? Really low on the cash at the moment but just so desperate to get my system up and running :A:

it'll power it. just make sure its bridged. should give about 100wrms which is enough for a nice amount before you upgrade

bridging... (the below diagram shows two channels, use those highlighted in red when wiring it to a sub)

+ - + -

the pos from channel 1, and the neg from channel 2

Cheers! Setup the sub/amp yesterday :y: but took me and my mate about 6 hours due to some really simple mistakes but we gotta learn somehow :) Gonna try to sort the speakers out tomorrow but in all honesty I would be happy with how it is at the moment! Lets see how it goes tomorrow!

That guide is amazing. Well done!

Would that Amp be powerful enough? I like my music to be hard punching bass and some nice highs (Usher - Yeah is a good example of how i'd like my music to be)

I used Clarion HU, JBL comps, and a vide sub and amp (all in one) The bass shakes my rear view mirror out of position, and still sounds great.
