your one of the reason our insurance is high. because when you people crash into insured drivers . there insurance companies pay out and next year knock it up to compensate. if you cant afford it dont drive or strap a steering wheel and citroen badge to your push bike

Must be 7 points for insurance, as I don't think no MOT is endorsable.
Good luck trying to find cheap insurance, I don't think it exists nowadays, especially for folk like you with points for dodging it in the past.

LOL at the replys.
i have 6 points for no insurance (when i was 17) im 20 now and we all make mistakes so unless your going to give him a "decent answer" then dont post at all.
and you cant just blame uninsured drivers for high insurance premiums when there is so many factors like the idiots who claim for whiplash when they are perfectly fine.
try insureyourmotor or Adrian flux mate, 1st year isnt going to pretty but just be like i was and say i got myself in this mess so i will pay the price for it. after 2 or 3 years it will be relatively cheap once you start getting NCB

the only reason your supporting is your another idiot like him. you ask anyone in here if they get crashed into your gunna get any penny out of it as we pay large for insurance . we deserve any money back. instead of you people cutting corners and making us pay more.
its simple dont drive uninsured how people dont understand this is beyond me . to be honest im happy you 2 have points and have had to pay more. i would feel robbed otherwise.
Uninsured drivers = Gobshites
Insurance companies = Large Corporate Gobshites

You are so right. Big up both of you for driving around with no insurance. There should be more like you. A credit to society.

stop jumping into fuc*king conclusions, everyone on here does it!
What if he had just bought a car, insured it but it hasnt quite gone through yet? or something along the lines of that.
Or it has just ran out and he was unaware of it?
He hasn't said what happened therefore dont make false accusations.

then he would of argued that and there wouldnt of been a thread made with i have points for no insurance. as insurance not going though is not point worthy as they would phone the insurance up.
unblievable, people trying to defend it. why do we have to pay thousands for insurance and someone else driving without insurance not having to pay for it. where is the fairness in that. there isnt any.

LOL acting as if you are all saints.
you dont know what his situation was so dont jump to conclusions, how do you know he was like "no im not paying insurance" and just toodled about with no insurance.
You dont so your argument is invalid.
ive payed for my mistake by paying large premiums. so he will have to aswell just like the millions of other people who have points.

OP says no insurance or MOT
Whilst its possible its a genuine mistake, the fact it was also no MOT leads me to believe he/she knowingly drove without insurance.
If true that makes him/her a cock and doesn't deserve cheap insurance imo
Make a mistake, pay for it yourself instead of making others pay

or what about the situation where he bought a new car, the MOT ran out, which then voids the insurance.
so for a simple mistake of not checking the MOT date, he got 7 points.
2 sides to every story.
there are too many saints on here, who bitch about folks with no insurance, and i bet that 90% of them have a mod on there car, which is not declared, so in essence, they have no insurance either.
an no, ive never been done with no insurance, ive always declared mods, and my premiums are high, but thats cos i drive fast, and sometimes get caught. but i dont care, i never smash, or drive dangerously, but i do drive fast, woweee

Yes you do, if your MOT is expired your policy is void!
Ive got 9 points, Ive never found any cheaper than what comes up on conparison sites. Just be truthful and it wont be too bad, be a good boy from now on and it will drop every year!

If you get points then you deserve to pay more for your insurance, simple really
I got 3 points 5 years ago for speeding, I paid more on my insurance for 5 years. My own fault

This could be cleared up by the OP just coming back and confirming if it was a simple mistake, or if he knowingly drove with no insurance or MOT.

but that is what happens, so you pay for your "crime" for 5 years then boom back to normal hoping that you have learned not to do it again

You can have insurance for a car off the road!
Or for a car without MOT going to a test!
