I train at home and i'm looking to upgrade my equipment in the next month or 2 so can anyone reccomend some websites, cheaper the better of course !
Looking for a new bench (wide grip) that is solid (maybe olympic style), has a leg extension, incline and decline adjustable back rest and is tall enough, or adjustable to be able to do squats off.
And a new weights set, barbell and 2 dumbell bars. Discs must be iron or some form of metal, that are tough. Smaller the better so I can fit more weight on the bars. Total weight needs to be at least 100kg.

If your not bothered about all new equipment I'd just look through ebay and also looking on a few uk bodybuilding forum and see what people are selling, I know on uk-muscle there are always a few people selling some decent equipment for a good price. It's mainly just lumps of metal, so age shouldnt be much of an issue!

im serioulsey considering a home set up now tbh
evry gym you go to now is full, or super expensive, im trying my hardest to get back into my training, but when i cant get on anything, or even get into a rythm...its putingme back if im honest
and having a 4 and a half month old baby and doing 10 hours shifts daily puts you out tbf...i have a large spare room, been looking on ebay and gumtree alot... seems to have a good few bits pop up often, lots of cheap cast barbells set ups on gumtree that will put most home gym set ups up a gear with the extra weights.. and decent machines/free weights

both seem a good buy tbh mate, im looking into sacking gym totally, i want to get back into training full time, but 10 hour days 5 out of 7 and a 6 month old baby with over time as and when cant facilitate,
i want to train when i can,but working alot doesnt help, home gym is the only way i feel i can now, when ive got time i need to use it lol!
so this is my next buy, least if ive got it, i can do a full body work out, till i build up my gear, initial cost is great but the work out it can give you speaks for itsefl, not one other machine can provide all it can, always been a favourite in gym for all groups.. if not a bit basic its got a full size chin up bar and cant find one cheaper online with same "qaulity" and delivery

I ended up with a Marcy multi gym. Opted for a cable/weight stack over free weights as I havnt got a spotter.
Want rid now though because I reckon your form suffers.

You dont have to have a spotter when useing free weights. If anything it makes you concentrate on your form even more as you know someone isnt there to spot you

Not happy with powerhouse fitness who I got the bench from, only the bench turned up not the squat rack, so im unable to squat or barbell bench until I know what the fuck is going on :wall:
