Hi everyone, this is my first post.

I am currently planning on upgrading the standard head unit and speakers in my Furio. I have have read alot of posts on the best way to go about upgrading and understand that it is best to fit components up front.

However, all i require is something that is better quality than standard. I'm not fussed about big bass or anything like that, just a nice clean sound where i can notice a difference from standard.

Would it be possible to create a better sound than standard by just buying a cheap head unit such as http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/12904.html, replace the standard speakers with coaxials and just run them off the head unit? Would the sound be a noticeable difference?

it would be a big improvement over standard. you wont be getting big, crisp noise, but it will be far far better than the rubbish they fit as standard

Cheers mate, that's all i'm after at this moment in time. Maybe in time uprage to comps and and amp, but like i say all i want is an upgrade from standard on a tight budget.
