has anyone got any tips on how to get 0 Gauge live wire through the grommet under the dash?
im trying all the usual "wire coat hanger" methods but its that hard to get going that the coat hanger or wire etc that i use just comes off or snaps. 2 hours later and ive still not got it through and getting annoyed

I used my earth wire pushed it throughout the grommet from the interior side, use masking tape to attach your live to it level and straight and pull it through like that, or try to make the hole a bit larger, I used a screwdriver to push through then a larger one and a larger one till the wire went through. Good luck

Its a bitch on a saxo.
Keep plugging away, you'll get there!!!
I try to go through the car, and then piss about getting it from the engine bay to battery. It's easier than engine bay to car IMO.
If you can attach something thinner and more flexible to the end, it makes pulling it and moving it easier.

the simplest of jobs can be such bastards tbh
would happily do anything else to the car than try and squeeze a wire through that gap again

i drilled a new hole when i did mine, wire went straight in, and found it behind the glove box

done it yesterday on mine took 10 mins. used my stanley knife to cut a + shaped slit in the grommet and went straight through from interior to bay.
hardest bit was getting the fucking cable from under the back seats to the boot.

best way todo this job is use a bread knife to make a decent sized slit then get the lube out no need for a pulling wire or coat hanger

i just slit mine, and then pulled it through by taping it to the 4 gauge that was already there, nice and simple :)

Unscrew your aerial and you have yourself a strong and yet flexible tool to push through the grommet with ;)

I taped a thin fencing wire to it, got the ol lube out and gave it a good ol tug
