another ebay question / problem just wanting your opinion on. Sold some Tein coilovers a few weeks back, buyer took ages to sort money eventually paid last week, he got the coilies today.
Now in the auction I took 6 pictures just to show general condition on the adjusters, dust covers, top mounts etc to show condition. Did state on auction that they were a good few years old although I personally didn't have any problems with them on the car before removing. At no point in the description did I mention they were in good condition, now the guy is saying that the bottom bushes are worn adjusters are damaged and top mounts "seem" seized and asking for a refund.
I've told him that if he had any problems/questions or queries and wanted more pics he should of asked in the week+ it was taking for his payment to clear or before bidding if he was unsure. I've told him he ain't getting a refund as I've described them honestly and stated a good few times in the ad any questions or queries don't hesitate to ask.
Just want opinions on the matter as I feel I am pretty much in the right as described them as they came off the car and if anyone asked anything I would of happily taken more pics as most people would of
if he paid via gaypal you will be fucked.

Unfortunately eGay tends to look after buyers more than it does sellers.
I would call his bluff and tell him to return them at his cost if he's unhappy with them

well payments cleared and that paypal account got closed the other week due to some sort of fraud happening on it.
Craig pretty much called his bluff saying if he had any questions then why didn't he message to ask for more pics, he's trying to say that in the auction I said they were in good condition whilst I blatantly did not

If one was so inclined, it would be so easy to rip loads of people off - as Ryan said, they just believe the buyer all the time.

as said guys the buyer is trying to say I stated in the auction I described them as good condition whilst I did not, all I said was they are a good few years old but I've not had a problem with them. Then goes on to say these things are wrong with them etc whilst they blatantly are not, as said I replied back saying if he had any doubts then why he didn't message me

If the adjusters are damaged, and you didn't say that in the info (i'm presuming you didn't as you aren't denying they're damaged, no offence), then it seems to be your fault. It's not his place to ask that, it should really be in the item description.. if they aren't that bad then fair enough, good luck with it anyway :)

thats the thing hatcha the adjusters were fine as I used them without a problem and I made sure they were moving fine before sending them. Plus with the pics had close ups of pretty much everything he was complaining about I wasn't hiding anything started them low and it was on 160 on the last few hours before he came in and bumped it over 200

take it to dispute gav! you need to make a first move in this though! dont let him doit first! contact ebay cust support
i had a it with an engine i sold!
clearly said in listing the gearbox was not included!
scrote turns up and takes the engine! then 3-4 weeks later got left neg feedback for it!
so i disputed the feedback with ebay! he was saying i had said in the listing the gearbox was included! yet it said everything minus the gearbox! anyway after about 3 weeks ebay settled the dispute in my favour and removed the feedback! cheeky cunt then tried putting in a paypal claim! (paid via paypal as he sent someone to collect it) but again they went in my favour! becuase he hadnt reported it within 28 days or somthing
but more often than not it will go in the buyers favour!
one reason i dont use it anymore! ffedback is pointess now! so many people fuck you about buying stff becuase they know theres no comeback even f they dont pay anymore

this is why I cba selling stuff on ebay the thing as said which I will point out again he hasn't put a claim in or left feedback, I pointed out to him in the reply to his I want a refund message was if he at any point before bidding had concerns or during the week payment was clearing why he didn't get in touch for more pics to be sure and reiterated that at no point in the advert did I say they were in good condition which he was implying I did all I said was they are a good few years old as you can see from the pics. I didn't have anything to hide anyway and as I said previously did state in the ad many many times any questions or queries don't hesitate to ask
i'll ring customer support in the morning and see what they say anyway

Just ask for them back? I dont see the problem here...
The customer says they are faulty, so ask him to post them back recorded delivery, then re-fund the original asking price. Then put them back up for sale, somewhere else.

Josh the point is the guy is trying to claim they are when the blatantly are not, plus at the end of the day he is trying to claim in the description it was stated good condition when all that was said was a good few years old but I've not had any problems with the adjusters etc
all sorted anyway spoke to customer services looks like this guy has had a lot of complaints against him regarding similar stuff, sent them all correspondence and they have a copy of the auction advert aswell guy on the phone said that once the wait period is over will be pretty much in my favour
