Can anyone lend me a standard air filter and housing my mk1 vtr (97) just failed its mot on emissions and i was told it could well be the airfilter as i have a piper x but i bought it like it and dont have the original!! i can collect and bring it back whenever just need it for monday morning for a retest cheers guys

ok ive bought a new cat so anyone in kent or anywhere that has a standard mk 1 blacktop airfilter and housing that wants to lend it to me id be very greatfull pm me

air filter wont make any diforence on your emissions m8 its your exhaust thats does that. put the cat on thats all you need. i have a BMC on mine and passed with flying colours. mine still has the cat on btw.

i thought that but it does effect your fuel ratios etc and as my emissions are really high i thought id try everything just waiting on the cat being delivered now and ill fit it next week all going well! and see how that helps might just be that the ceramic filiment inside it has collapsed so needs a new one i hope !!
