It's fairly easy to do, just get a mate and a hair dryer. Im shite with DIY, but me and a mate carbon wrapped a Fiesta ST Bonnet

i advise you not to use hairdryer to wrap use a squeegee and a water spray gun

wat ever u do with carbon fibre look vinyl make sure u buy some decent stuff. with the cheaper stuff the second u stretch it to far it just distorts the apearance of the weave and looks pants

Decided I'm gonna spray it matt black before I fit it now.. then when funds allow buy a posi blue vt kit..

it sounds like you don't know the difference tbh, real carbon fibre is very expensive

I've done the odd bit of vinyl wrapping, it's not too tough. Carbon look is thick compared to some stuff. Domt be scared of giving it a go. Someone I know wrapped his 996 turbo. But then he owns that because he can't afford a real car with carbon ;)

Most fitting companies advise against this on some parts, espec if you need the car soon after. The reason you need to heat wrap is so it forms to the contours of the body, cold vinyl doesn't stretch as well.

To further answer your pm, i know a guy who wet lays (he does all my bits) but noone who can make actual bits like bonnets etc..

Guy on the e36 forum, hes on a few does loads of vw bits too.

He can wrap anything internal or external but it comes down to how much money you want to spend..
