my mum wants me to get rid of all the oil patches that are on my driveway they have been there since we moved in to the house 5yrs ago so i was going to get it done this weekend for her wot would you say is the best stuff to remove it and were can i buy it from cheers ian

pressure washer wont do it. if the stains are still there after 5 years, not much will get rid of them

Path and driveway cleaner followed by a pressure washer.

Its a bitch to remove.
I found petrol and lots of scrubbing the best solution.
If its slabs,you could always just turn them over.
I used fair liquid and sure it was washing powder or something, then give it a good scrub. Did a decent job aswell

Why do people always go for the DIY cleaning materials.
Serious.. you all need to own a gallon of this stuff. It IS amazing!!!! It will clean ANYTHING. Add a few bottle tops to a water squerter and add water.
I cleaned my engine with it, I clean a truck engine with it, I clean a generator with it. I got oil off my drive and i clean under my car with it:

ive used a heat gun before
650 degrees celsius did the trick nicely

scruib it with some petrol then pressure wash it, then once its dry get some concrete dust and scrub that into it with a hard brush, allways done the trick for me on old weathered in oil stains
