Hi im gonna be insuring my car soon (Im 17) and i have 1 years NCB from my moped, with Highway Insurance. Not many companies take moped NCB but just wondering if any of you have experience by situation and know of any that do accept moped NCB. Thanks.

Im not 100% sure about using ones from when you're 16, you'd have to ring them and find out.

But when i turned 18, i used my ncb from my 125 i had when i was 17, i didnt bother trying it with the moped ncb from age 16 though.. anywhoo admiral accepted it

im 20 yrs old, almost 21 only been driving a car for 18 months but iv ridden bikes from the age of 16 (rx50) then a (honda cb500) when i turned 19 i did my driving test and managed to move my 3yrs ncb to my car through churchill. They were stopping this service at the end of that year tho so i think its just a case of asking about and finding someone who can transfer it.
i just renewed my insurance and they said its fine to use ncb from your bike loag as you can get the ncb certificate that says 4 yrs ncb. (this was said by adrian flux) even tho i decided to go with a different insurance company.
so i think once you have got it transferred and get the ncb certificate it tends to be a bit easier to use it.

Hope this helps.
