Undercover boss on channel 4 is covering the boss of southern fried
chicken.

"Southern freid chicken" I thought it was some copy cat KFC type brand, I did not even realise it was a real brand that was started in the 1960's in the uk.

Has anyone ever eaten any of this stuff ???????

It'll never be as good as finger licking chicken in Manchester.

It's deffo rat / pidgeon instead of chicken, but it tastes bloody good.

I dont think i have ever seen one, sounds just like a regular independent.

few of them round newcastle/washington

they sell frozen stuff aswell in alot of shops

Yes, Theres one in Cardiff, My Dad and I used to travel 30 miles to get it every sunday when i was younger.

there is one in mexborough in rotherham i ordered a chicken burger (if you can call it that) from there when it first opened and i will never ever order again.

it had staples in it and had loads and loads of skin but hardly any chicken and was a browny colour, it was the worst chicken thing i have ever seen. i can safely say that menu went straight in the bin

I thought like above poster that it was just some independant local town brand.

Like HFC, YFC etc

Its on the TV now channel 4

I would not fancy eating at one after seeing this.

Speaking of chicken, the other night me and a mate went to KFC about 20 mins before it shut, we got a good deal of:

4 breasts
8 mini fillets
6 hot wings
1 large popcorn chicken
4 large fries
2 large drinks

£8. Bargain y0

Was all decent chicken too. Not the stuff that had sat around for hours.

Needless to say, I'll be heading back at that time!

we have a new SFC opened near me, apparently it was on tonight show (thatcham branch) its really nice chicken tbh, much better than kfc imo!
