Pick it up Monday!!!

Hi guys,

Been to view and test drive a Saxo Vtr today, must admit its my first ever go in one and was reasonably surprised!! Hence im picking it up Monday ;)

Apart from getting used to the off set peddles, and the indicators/wipers being back to front (been driving jap for a while now, lol) it was rather fun to drive, and considering im coming from a Mk2 MR2 thats saying a lot! The only thing i did notice is the clutch bite was quite high, is this normal in Saxo's or does it sound like a new clutch or some adjustment is needed?

welcome :), clutch cable jus needs adjusting id fort someone might not of done it when the new clutch was fitted of not enough, i always asjust mine to bitting points is as close to it can to to the floor lol

Cool, il get my mechanic to look at it Monday after iv picked it up, is it a simple job? Oh and thanks for the welcome!!

yeah its a simple job jus need 2 spanners, 10mm i think

Picked the car up monday and well..... im converted! Apart from a few mechanical things and a bit of tlc needed im totally happy with the car. Gonna clean it up and a do a bit of work on it the weekend, so hopefully get some pics sorted too :D

You'll always be cleaning up and sorting out mechanical stuff with a saxo. ;)

Nice though mate would be good to see pics.
