Sorry guys but i have a few questions and haven't looked into insurance in a while,

I was paying around 1,200 with quinn and paying per month so near £100 but recently canceled due to me possibly losing my job. im wondering if they'd take me back on my same policy again perhaps ? and continue what i was on before ?

I know i need to get my car back on the road to enable me to find work, the problem is i have only a few days to either get some work or head down the dreaded job centre.

obviously i want to work, but its so hard finding work right now and a car is pretty essential.

I am still employed for maybe 4 days and im finding quotes of around 800, including adding my dad and gf who drive it occasionaly,

basically, would it be ok for me to get my insurance then leave my job to sign on (if it came to it) ? this is a last resort.

I will ring admiral tomorrow as they seem best but advice from here can be much greater than someone on the phone who i cant understand.

ideally i want to pay monthly but if its only £700 then i may go for the full year.

im just looking for a little help really as its so depressing having my car there and not being able to use it.

i presume if i did end up on the dole theirs pretty much no chance of me getting insured with anyone ? :(

thanks,

I would given them a phone and see if they would give you a similar policy, you wont know till you ask. But i would definitely shop around first :D

ps. where about in angus are you from?

Hmmm, I have probably seen you going about. There are a couple of Silver vt's going about at the moment :D

Yeah i go on comparison sites and get the cheapest quotes and phone the company up and ask if they can do any better. If you dont ask you dont get and it has worked for me in the past.

If you cancelled your policy then they won't put you back on the same one, you will have to setup a new one which could be more or less expensive

Unless thats not what your asking?

yeah bud thats what i was meaning,

even better news i found with admiral £900 odd for the year, £79 a month so ive gone with that, tho its tpft it will do.

just waiting on my car coming back from the garage as its got a leak then i can get on the road again! yay,
