a proper driveway cleaner is the most effective.

Cover the rest of the drive in oil and no one will notice :ninja:

First off cover it for a day or two in sand to soak it up, then as Kam said try a drive cleaner..

Have to admit though nothing will get it up, ive never found one that works, Also what drive do you have thatll make a big difference?

If its slab, id change them
Gravel, id turn it over
Grass, your a bellend for even asking
Pavers, id change them
Tarmac, i wouldnt put diesel anywhere near it..

pour petrol on it then scrub it with rags / old towels. That'll clean it up the best, but to remove the stain, you'll probably need to use a commercial specialist product. Petrol does an amazing job mind you :)

salt + sand, leave it there for a couple of days. then remove, scrub with fairy liquid and elbow, should go. If you have access to a steam cleaner even better

Gunk driveway cleaner with washing powder chucked in. If the oil has pooled use cat litter to absorb it and bag it up
