i posted a little pick which to be honest was jenous on general chat then someone goes and moves in into jokes without having the decency to tell me, i understand yes it was a joke and yes there is a joke section, but you could of at least told me you moved it or whatever moved it.

If moderator's PM'd a member everytime a thread/post was removed, then the actual site moderating wouldn't be done. If you have a joke to post, then put it up in the right section. That way, you save yourself and the moderators time and effort in sorting it.
