hello all, ive got couple of problems with my vtr 1st is lumpy idle (needle barely moves) 2nd is when its cold the revs stick between 1500 - 2000 but only when its cold once its warms up its drives fine?? i took off the stepper and the map sensor today and cleaned them also put the diag on at work and there's no fault codes.. just wondered if any1 had any idea's what else i could try before i have to start guessing and buying parts??
cheers in advance

Take the plug off the coolant temp sensor when it's cold, then start it to see how it revs.

could the temp sensor cause these problems then??

Mines was revving itself & not always starting when hot & it cured the problem for me.
