View Full Version : Important! : help with removing and resealing sunroof and. very bad water leak!!

Hey everyone iv searched and kint find a good thread explaining step by step at removing and re sealking the sunroof as I have a bad water leak I have got a new door seal and cleaned out the drain under the bonnet at the drivers sideanyone help with all this !!! Need it sorted asap as I'm wanting my vts interior in ;)

basically you just need to remove everything thats attatched to the roof inside the car including the pillars behind the seatbelts and windscreen pillars and rears and drop the roof lining then you just undo all the torx bolts around the sunroof and it will come off

You sure it's not just the seal under the glass that's causing the leak?

Well I don't know if its the windscreen as I dnt really want to pay to get it taken out and re sealed if it doesn't need to be that's why I want to check eveything else first and leave the windscreen till last as cash is peetty tight atm. And cheers for the advise shal get stuck in to that at the weekend if it isn't raining. Starting to get sick of getting in the car and having puddles on the floor

usually its the drain gets clogged (or some models apparantly a bolt constricts the pipe so it overflows into the roof!) as mines got the same problem.

Found the sourc of the friggin leak!! Its the sunroof so shal be sorting that this weekend if its not pouring rain :) cheers for the help everyone
