Why driveshafts? I just completed my motor vehicle level 2 qualification and going back for level 3 in september. Just a bit about me there lol

it says thats theres a knocking when turning and that happened on mine which was the driveshaft but could be the cv joint aswell

Could be the cause of the clunking from the front. Especially as its said to be clunking sometimes when steering.

It says bush there in the ad.. But what bush would cause a clunking in the steering? :/

Could possibly be referring to the strut top mount bearing?

I dont want to have to change that, I helped a friend do his on his gti6 and it took us ages :(

Hahaha The car would definitely be worth a look. Then you can see exactly what is causing the clunking

Yes i plan to buy it as long as my insurance quote me something reasonable.. Annoying thing is i learnt to drive in a VTS so im yet to drive anything that has suprised me lol This should definately be faster than my old corsa though.

Any of you lot know if the furio has full electrics?
Scorgie01
10th August 2011, 17:37
What do you mean by "Full electrics"

They come with electric windows
Central locking, Not sure about being remote as mine come with a fob but i cant find a receiver any where

I'll have to fit remote if it doesnt have it, I fitted it on my corsa and its worth it for how cheap you can get a kit.

Depends on if the person selected them when buying it new I guess?
Scorgie01
10th August 2011, 17:43
Yeah there is a good guide on here on how to fit them. As you say they are good for all the price of them

So it was an optional extra when bought new?

Could have been. The guy i bought mine from said that all it needed was a new battery in the fob but apparently not hahaha

Hopefully this one has... i've fitted 2 remote central locking kits now lol Im getting a bit tired, and i get impatient at wiring and when it doesnt work i get grumpy because you cant see whats wrong with electrics :(
