EML on the dash? but totally fine.

bought a vtr today its had a few mods but nothing major. but the EML is on but runs and drives totally fine pulls well and doesnt drink fuel.

whats everyones ideas?

I'm not sure but is the EML light the emissions? Has the car been de-catted?

yeah its a silver top with the cat in the manifold but its got a mk1 manifold on it so its been de catted could this be why? why would it cause this?

Yeah thats why its on, only way to get the light off is to sleeve the 2nd lambda sensor but if the light doesnt bother you wont cause any probs :y:

just popped to the shop and the light has gone out so happy days :D
