Non-saxo audio problem

Now before people say this is a saxo forum, i am fully aware of this but figure some people may be able to help.

I have a shitty work horse polo atm but only one of the speakers work, with all the the connections being fine, any other ideas?

And my headunit doesnt work in it, not getting any power at all, but it works fine in other cars? I have switched the red and yellow cables over to see if that helps but no. I have also tried a new wiring harness to see if that helped but no.

So any suggestions would be great.

I'd say dropped a channel on the head unit try swapping the cables on the back of the head unit see if you can make the other speaker work to cancel out the broken wiring to the speaker

I didnt think it would be this, as another headunit worked in the car. However checked them and the fuse was blown. But how did the other HU work with a blown fuse?
