This may be a mad question, although sensible too, I'm moving to London next month; do you reckon all the car vandalism will cause a mass increase on insurance in London? Panicking all of a sudden!

How many cars were actually vandalised?
But more than likely, if Insurance companies can make a valid point for rising costs I'm sure they wil end up doing it :panic:

They'll screw you for every penny then can mate, so it wouldn't surprise me.

saxo 1.5D yesterday now costs £20 more then the stock vtr would have last month!

If it affects statistics then it will affect insurance premiums

Said on the news yesterday that insurance premiums have gone up 4% in riot affected areas (property wise) but have to wait for end of month figures for the auto/commercial insurance rates.

this seems silly. insurance is going up all the time so you wont see any difference. it'll always be more!

Pretty sure riot damage isn't covered by car insurance. Most companies have small print that says they won't pay out if your car's damaged by war, natural disaster, civil unrest or an act of god. Pretty sure rioting comes under one of those :)
