Fao people who have received a rebate

Hallo

I rang the tax people back in july and they confirmed i was on the wrong tax code and it would take 2 weeks to change. I received a letter after 2 weeks with my new tax code. On the phonecall I was told i could be owed money from paying too much tax... people who have had a rebate.. how long did you have to wait to find out if you are owed money and how long did it take to arrive?

They'll send you a letter and then will send a cheque separately.

Was on the wrong tax code for 9 months :/ Rang up the tax office and asked them to put me onto the right tax code. Which they did, he even worked out how much I would get back with my next wage.

Two weeks later I got my wage slip with a tax rebate included! :D Happy days.

Give them another call and get them to sort it out straight away dude.

They owe me again but for £60 they want me to send them all p60s & some wage slips but idk where they are

Same happened to me, I didn't realize BR as my tax code wasn't right untill I was talking to the finances bloke at work and he noticed it. So he got it sorted for me and my next wage slip it was on it (I get paid weekly so didn't take long :D ) I got something around the £1500 mark, and then a few months later I got another £900 tax rebate which I have no idea why but I wasn't complaining :P

I worked for Wincanton for 2 years nearly 2 of those years was on emergency tax because my cunt of boss couldn't be arsed to sort out my tax code. Until one day i kicked off at him, after that i didn't work for Wincanton no more.
