I have put a pair of OMP buckets in the VTS, and Willans 4 points.
My eldest is 5, can he ride in the car?
I'm struggling to find any information on the legal ins and outs of it....

wouldnt be putting any kid of mine in a saxo.
I'm not going to rag it or drive like a toolbox, but he really wants to go for a drive in it.
I might just buy a standard passenger seat

i cant see whay not if anything the harness will give more protection than a normal belt would best thing to do is put him in it with the booster and have a good look over and tug at the seat to see it there is any play before you set off
and why wouldnt you put any kid of yours in a saxo mine comes in mine everyday she has the proper locked child seats and i drive like an old man when she is in the car its no different than putting a kid in a fiesta or 106 its not the car its the driver

Cant see why not, baby seats are essentially using a harness set up :P should be fine with booster.

As long as he sits high enough then yes. 4 points are safer for kids cause in the event of a crash 4points spread the force evenly across your chest rather than shoulder. If your going for a little drive don't worry about it.
