Get him to send the money, arrange for him to pick up the car and when his pleb arrives to collect the car, invite him in.

Then torture him to death.

If anyone has ever used Autotrader before to list a car they would have recieved several of these scam emails, can't believe they are still going on.

Autotrader is not exactly cheap and you would think they could adopt a system to block these type of emails over the years

ask for cash, if he says its an associate collecting the car for him and hes out of the contry (which is exactly what he'll say) tell him to paypal the money to his associate who can bring it when he collects it.
he'll come up with a reason why his "associate" cant use paypal, so tell him you also cant use it due to being banned from holding a bank account in the uk

the buyers words and language sound awkward so obviously English not his first language - avoid like the proverbial

devilsadvocate

It's a scam, you will get no money

I must have recieved about 7 of these over a 4 week period, all just as badly worded.

Chances are they type what they want to say in their own language and stick it through a translator, hence the reason it looks badly written

I've had similar experiences on EBay.

Guy emailed me saying 'I'll buy your PS3 but I'm on a HIV campaign, so can you deliver it to my son in Nigeria.'

How do these people think others will fall for it..

Why yes, I'll send my goods out without receiving payment...

Stissy

You speak English poorly as well :)

But I had the same thing, was giving away a caravan, and they would leech information from you, for identity theft, or burgary.

True story, bro.
