eco boost

anyone know much about ford eco boost engine

are the different whats so special about them ??

heard there doing a 3 cylinder 1.0 litre turbo charged

generally a 3 cylinder is more economical than a 4 cylinder and a turbo makes it move lol. that's pretty much it they do sound a bit diesel ish though.

ha ha jaytee zzzzzziiinnnnngggg very distinctive sounding engines, smaller engine with boost is more efficient than a bigger engine without. they use boost when accelerating to increase power then kill the boost at cruise to get the fuel economy of a smaller engine.
