you probs need to take it to a garage as need pressing out. only need basic tools to remove the strut

if i take it all apart do you think a garage will just take the bearing out and put the new one in for me ?

yeh if you just give your local garage a ring and ask when they can change the bearing if you poped the strut down to them should cost around £10-20 for thm to do it for you. obvs specify if you'll be suplying the bearing or not mate

Yep got the bearing from local motor factor £18.00. The only reason i am doing it is the garage wanted £89.00 for doing the job and i had the price of the bearing on top of that which i think is well steep.

Second hand stub axle with a decent bearing would have been easier mate rather than messing round pressing bearings out and in.

And how much would one of them cost me and how do you know that the bearing will be ok in that on ?
