Hi,

Want to lower my Saxo VTR by about 35-40mm all round, but I haven't got a scooby where to begin.

rear torsion bars should be simple enough, but the front is where I don't know - Do I need coilovers, dampers or just lowering springs?

You can do it with just lowering springs thats the cheapest method but not really the best. Try to get a decent brand of springs aswell Eibach,H+R etc...

If you have abit more money to play with get a decent kit such a Bilstein which should comprise of springs,front & rear shocks.

Depends how much you got and what your overall aim is?

I want the car to look noticeably lower than standard (not difficult I know). I want to keep the standard VTR wheels but do very subtle mods - slight tints, nice backbox/filter etc - nothing in your face really.

If your just after looks then just a decent set of springs will do the job.

you will be fine just on a set of springs wibach are very good not stiff at all there just like standards maybe a tad harder so not a harsh ride
