The most important bit to get sharp is the eyes... and they aren't sharp. Would've been a great pic.

is a good picture , as fred said work on the sharpness of the picture .

also consider cropping the bottom of the picture to make it even . i like the

angel of the photo and the edge of the wood in the top left . adds depth to it .

to add to your composition try and get a shot where the subject faces into the picture, uses the rule of thirds(placing the object on the third both vertically and horizontally like fred has done above ^^) this doesnt work on every image, and also diagonal lead in lines which draw your eye to the subject are useful
