.... for thier car insurance & who are you with? I'am currently paying just short of £1000 with me as a named driver on my VTR and that's with Quinn. It was £1800 for my 1.1i for the first year. Just interested with what everybody else is having to pay with all these stupid insurance prices...

EDIT: That's with my postcode apparently.

Mine was £500 fully comp on the GTI with Elephant

Benefits of being older with NCB though :)

My renewal came through £40 cheaper, shame I have sold the car though :(

Thing is i have to be, High risk post code, had a few unstable jobs, so i need it to be cheap as possible! As soon as have a secure job i want my own policy!

ive always found it cheaper to be the MAIN driver and add my parents as a Named Driver . . .

they arnt stupid, when you say, "umm yeah im a named driver", course you are...

£950 full comp VTR mods declared aged 19. Just for referance sake, Can change to a 106 gti for 1100 or VTS for 1200 - with elephant.

£1400 on a vts, only thing killing me is the 4 yrs no no-claims . with NFU (was cheapest) and im 30 :(

i am paying £4000 for my 1.4 furio and thats the cheapest.
I am 19 20 in 2 weeks i hope it goes down alot when i get my 1 years no claims in november hopefully! :panic:

Last year I paid 3 grand for my r at 18, then I hit 19 a day later i get 3 points, the original 2400 I was Gunna pay for my next new year went up wait for it......
£760 notes.....FAIL on my terms for running a traffic light. Tiredness kills, it also causes your insurance to rape you.
