I caught one this morning on the Discovery channel I think it was,
about 2am?
Very interesting stuff.. I'm not sure how exactly to voice my opinion on the 'super natural' stuff (I've never had any experiences myself)
Does baffle me though.. Can't really justify that many planes/people/boats etc etc go missing!
Especially flight 19, how do you lose 6 air craft and 20 crew members?

I've done a Ouija board, it was weird.
Bermuda triangle has no more sinkings etc than any other area of sea that's as busy as that. There's nothing weird about it except for flight 19. but that was just an american pilot that got lost. hardly unexplainable.

Pilot? *s
20 crew and 6 aircraft..
If theres a reasonable explaination for it fair enough but I've yet to hear one with evidence to back it up.
I can agree with the missing ships etc, But randomly people who supposedly go missing etc, just doesn't make sense to me personally.
This all could just be a big scam thought up to increase tourism or something daft but I don't think it is..
SO I don't know :)

Area 69 :zainy:
Can say I saw a ghost about 6-7 years ago, I was convinced it was a person just sitting in the corner of my room so I moved rooms a couple days later, it followed me to the new room. Parents wouldn't believe me, I would scream and cry through the night, used to see footprints in the carpet where it was moving, but it wasn't really visible as to what it was, just a figure basically. My mum didn't see the ghost or the footprints but I was convinced it was there.
She told me it was all in my head, which it was tbh, stopped thinking about and told myself there is nothing there. Never seen it since.
Now when people ask if I think they are real, I say no.
Bermuda triangle is fiction.
UFOs are fiction/imagination if you mean like the space saucer kind. If you mean aircraft flying that is unknown then yeah all time, I would imagine the RAF practice at night as well as day. If you mean aliens, doubtful, but no one can really know.

Well i believe in aliens, cant tell me in the whole of the galaxy or space there is not another life form out there? And the way technology is moving forward ever so fast, nano technology, smartphones etc... its coming from somewhere. Also think of this, why is every alien film you watch, they all look the same? There drip feeding it to us and making us use to seeing them so maybe not in our lifetime but when they do release what ever it is they have in mexico the whole world wont shit themselfs and have mass panic!

Don't believe in much myself, you see all this stuff in films which I think strengthens people's beliefs, but never do you see hard solid proof of aliens / UFO's / ghosts - it's always suspicious footage
Did a Ouija board at school one night, one kid absolutely freaked out, went insane and burst into tears. Didn't affect me at all, think ignorance was bliss though (didn't fully understand what they were at the time)
We've got telescopes that can see for millions of miles, and avid ghost hunters, but we're yet to see proven footage of paranormal activity

No I can't tell you, but you can't tell anyone either as no one knows.
Why is it every picture of jesus the same? Are they preparing us for when he comes back as well, so there isn't mass panic?
Last time I checked as well the aliens in aliens vs predator looked a lot different from the ones in district 9 or the ones in attack the block.

I'm not a big believer in ghosts and things like that, but had one experience when I was about 15 which really shit me up.
My parents house is a big old Victorian terraced house and still has most of it's original features, one of which is a pair of pretty scary looking heads above the top and bottom of the main staircase. In Victorian times when someone died the body would be kept in the sitting room until it was buried so that people could pay their respects. These heads were there to stop spirits of the deceased from traveling up the stairs to the bedrooms.
One night I sneaked downstairs to raid the fridge at about 2am. On my way back up I felt a freezing cold draft do what I can only describe as pass through me, accompanied by really loud banging and muffled shouts or moaning like someone falling down the stairs.
I shit bricks ran up to my room and stayed there until the morning, when I mentioned it to my mother, who said I must have dreamed it. I'd forgotten about it for a few months until I was out in the front garden while my mother was speaking to my next door neighbour's elderly mother who had lived next door to us all her life.
My mother and her were talking about the metal fences and gates that had been reclaimed during the war for use in munitions factories and it reminded me of that experience, and I asked her if she knew of any ghost stories about any of the houses and she said yes there's loads... Straight away she said your house is supposedly haunted by a woman who fell down the stairs one night while arguing with her husband. This made me shiver, but to this day I've never heard that noise again but I still wonder what I felt and heard, as I know it wasn't a dream.

Can I just say no-one can say I don't believe in UFO's?
UFO has nothing to do with extraterrestrial life at all..
UFO as anyone should know is merely an abbreviation for Unidentified Flying Object..
and since most UFO's are seen at night and the Human being has not yet mastered being able to see in the dark it just proves that the majority of these seeings could infact be everyday things.. Thus not relating in any way to being from another planet blah blah blah

Look up something called the zone of silence, in mexico. I find that quite interesting as it seems to have some sort of magnetic field that drags things to it. It is also said that you cant get any radio, phone or any type of communication in the area.
Pena and his group became aware of the "silence" when they found that it
was impossible to communicate with one another via walkie-talkies: radio waves
are not transmitted at the accustomed speed and frequency. Portable radios would
emit but the lightest whisper when turned on at full volume. To this day,
television signals cannot be received in Ceballos or in the neighboring ranches.
Some magnetic force, with the power to dampen radio waves, seems to exist in the
region.
And a bit more info on it
Francisco Sarabia, an aviator from the northern Mexican state of Coahuila,
reported that his radio had mysteriously ceased to function, earning him the
distinction of being the Zone of Silence's first victim.
Nonetheless, it wasn't until 1970 that the zone first entered public
awareness when an American missile, an Athena, fired from the White Sands Missile
Base, went off course inexplicably, heading for the Zone of Silence, where it
ultimately crashed. A few years later, an upper stage from one of the Saturn
boosters used on the Apollo project broke up over the very same area. The U.S,
military sent a team down to the region to investigate its surprising natural
properties.
Link if you want to read some more on it: http://www.strangemag.com/zoneofsilence.html
Also, if you are into historic stuff that is to do with religion/aliens/gods etc. watch a program on the history channel called Ancient Aliens it gets really in depth to do with odd goings on in past times from the last century to thousends of years back.

Aliens are real. Its been proven as alien bacteria was found on a fallen meteor. I also believe that there is much more intelligent life out there than us.
I think ghosts/spirits are real as things happen in our house. When several family members and friends have witnessed it its hard not to believe, even though i believed before it happened.
The bermuda triangle fascinates me, but im sure theres something scientific about it all causing the shit to happen.

I think you have it there..
One of our planets properties is it being magnetically charged to some extent.. Thus the North and South Pole.. But the Bermuda Triangle, the 'Zone of Silence' probably amongst other areas across the planet may have a break in this field? Causing 'paranormal' activity.. whether this break is permanent or not is a different matter.. as the z-o-s seems permanent.. Bermuda seems to be hit and miss.. Could be something to do with the planet shifting or something thus affecting the magnetic field or something?
As you can tell.. I'm no scientist or anything, merely a curious person! :)

I'm the most sceptical twat around I'm constantly telling my mum to get a grip and stop watching bollocks like on tv about stuff like this but...
one day I was messing around in a field with an at the time best mate (I was probably like 11, I still remember it because I was so freaked out) the field was large & completely open with short grass, we were stood near a bush, behind the bush there's a thin ally but it was winter and you could see clearly straight through the bush as the leaves were dead.
There then was the most creepy dead mans voice that said, "get off my land", we both looked at each other as if to say, wtf did you hear that & evidently my friend did aswel. We turned around in a complete circle looking for someone and there was nothing there, you could see for miles, despite the voice sounding like it was literally whispered in to our ears.
We both ran home and got called idiots by our mothers.
cool story bro

Its actually Area 19.
I was looking this up a few nights back.
Its a owned by the US goverment/ USAF and is in Nevada Test Site (NTS)
It isn't restricted air space, so you can fly over it and even land on a runway there. When you request permission to land they wash the stones and dust from the runway.
Its a ot of hangers and you may go for a guided tour. I believe photography is prohibited though and you can't go into many buildings.
Here's on of the websites (http://www.area51zone.com/a19.shtml#air) i was reading it up on:

Iirc, the reason for missing planes/ airplane instruments messing up and then crashing is because the triangle holds a hell of a lot of Methane and other gases that interfere with the instruments on boats and planes. Its a scientific reason more then 'spooky'
I think the gases are released from the small islands, tropical seas and the hot weather.
I'm not 100% sure i believe in Alien's, though, in comparison. We (Earth) are a needle in a haystack (universe) Each star is a sun, each sun would have planets orbiting it. There's bound to be something somewhere.
What i find quite odd, and funny is when you speak to someone about Aliens, and ask them to draw what you think they would look like, they all do the classic alien drawing:
http://ecdn0.hark.com/images/000/004/224/4224/original.png
I'm still not sure that i believe in ghosts, although i did once see a man, lady and child in my room (All were dark, i could only see their figure) looking at a chest of draws of mine. There was a person trying to sell it to them. I said "hello" and they went.... never seen again.
We did/ sometimes still hear a baby crying in the house if you stand in a particular place (under the light in the kitchen). Its as clear as day and sounds like its crying from like the other end of the house. We have had all the windows shut. We have double glazing and no neighbours have any babies/ young children.
All the family herd it... ONLY when you stand under the light you hear it... weird shit.
I've done a Ouija board.... Fuck that shit too. The glass wobbled as soon as it hit the paper. We did it at school. We smashed the glass and burnt the paper. I've done it at home with a mate too and the glass wobbled by its self again.
Spooky shit!

Some people say that it is connected to Area 51. Some say it is part of A51. All i know is that it is linked with the NTS, which i guess is A51 (As thats where they do allot of explosive testing.

This is a video that i took filming a Ouija board when i went on a ghost hunt at Brentwood Nuclear Secret Bunker, in Essex, last year. It was a private hire function and it was about mid night too. Eary place by your self in there. I got the shivers a few times.
http://youtu.be/ft1YKabwhJ4
I am filming. There are 4 ladies doing this (All seemed thick as shit). I believe that they moved the glass because they believed in spirits.
When the lads took part, most of them didn't believe in this stuff (i my self took part and i am very open ,minded on this subject) the glass didn't even move... apparently there wasn't enough 'energy' with us lads. More like 4 / 5 of us didn't believe that this would work and i think most of it is physiological.

Well Nasa has ditched the manned space shuttle program as of a few days ago and now they are concentrating in out of space!
Why don't you think they would tell us? They have sent a CD/ MP3 and iPod player into space with all the worlds different language explaining who we are.
And if UFO's did exist... quite clearly Aliens are clever then us. They travel light years to come to earth, come into our air space and look around then shoot off. Thats some clever engineering.

Stuff like this really interests me, well not so much ghosts, more the secrecy side of things such as area 51 and the bermuda triangle, also conspiracies such as 9/11 etc..
One thing i do have to add to the collection of ghost encounters though, when i was younger we lived in a really old victorian terraced house, and there was a little boy ghost who used to wake me up because he'd be playing with my toys near my door. He would also sit on the stairs and giggle like he wasnt supposed to be there, and my parents would think it was me and apparently shout telling me to go back to bed. But there was nobody there.

I've experienced something not normal and it wasn't a hallucination from tiredness, basically i stayed awake all night playing xbox and it was about 4:30am when I went to open the window for some fresh air and noticed a lot of planes about.
Your thinking ok thats natural why the hell are you saying this? Well what wasn't normal was a black dot in the sky that literally stopped for i'd say a good 5 seconds before doing a huge loop at stupid speeds and disappearing into the high sky!
It wasn't a bird cause birds don't have smoke coming out their ass beforehand and it wasn't a plane cause it wouldn't stop and loop the loop in a matter of seconds before its gone!
It's no biggy and its probably something daft but it did question me for a while.

Can you imaging the energy it would need to propel its self to get up to speed (You'd only need to acceleration energy. There isn't any air in space so there's not any friction, so it would be cruising the rest of the way)
I dont think it would be possible for life form to travel at the speed of light, any life form would just be a jelly from the G-Force's applied up on them. Just a wild guess, but maybe if your travelling that fast, you would stretch?
As for 9/11 - I cant see how it is possible for a steel building to collapse in a vertical motion. Can you imaging all the steel from the building, there would be tonnes of it and it would be stacked several stories high. Looking at aftermath pictures, i can't see any very much steel beams.
Apparently special scientists took samples of steel and took them to a lab and found traces of this jelly substance remains on the steel. Turns out that this stuff i a very high explosive used to cut through steel. (I'll try and find a video of it)

Have a read of this: http://www.abovetopsecret.com/forum/thread191878/pg1
In theory we can go as fast as we like as long as we are shielded and do not accelerate or decelerate to quickly.

I kind of believe in ghosts due to stories my ex's parents told me about these flats they lived in called bemuda mansions, they reckon there was a poltergeist there due to many things happening over the years like there son saying he was playing with his dark friend when there was nobody there.. Also one night the dog was going ballistic barking, then the next morning they found him dead. Also the doors would just slam shut or doors wouldn't open. My ex's dad also got up in the night and started tearing the kitchen apart then the next morning he didn't remember a thing.
There the most honest people you could meet too so I know it's not bullshit

Airplane fuel doesnt even burn hot enough to melt the steel beams either lol
Maybe not but a steel beam will lose it's strength and rigidity when heated well before it 'melts'.
A GCSE text book will tell you that.

Exactly, the Steel didn't need to be melted, it just needed to be heated to a point where it could no longer support the load upon it.
Which it was over a period of time, which caused the failure.

I'll say again.
The amount of planes / ships that have come down in the Bermuda Triangle is no higher than any other stretch of busy water. There's never been any evidence to suggest an abnormal amount of problems there.
Stop going on sites such as "Abovetopsecret" and "whatreallyhappened" etc. Who the fuck do those geeks think they are, and how on earth do they know more than top scientists lol.
Also don't base you're entire views on events such as 9/11 on documentaries such as "loose change". The "evidence" they provided was edited and there's been countless law suits against the writers. The writers eventually admitted their lies.
Pentagon is interesting however.
Ouija boards however I do believe in and have buried my old one after burning it!

But what im saying is that the steel was melted, beams were still being pulled from the rubble weeks later to be found still dripping molten steel. The fire from jet fuel couldnt burn hot enough to do this, as the melting point of construction steel is around 2,800 farenheit iirc. But explosives, such as thermite, could.

Where's your source saying that the steel was still dripping?
rey
24th August 2011, 11:46
A conspiracy site probably.
It wasn't molten at all, it was superheated beyond it's particle tolerances and as such lost strength resulting in the failure/twisting of the beams.
This whole conspiracy surrounding it is weak.

Contractors that were hired to clear up the aftermath-
Mark Lorieux of Controlled Demolition, Inc
Peter Tully, President of Tully Construction
And im in no way a massive conspiracist (sp?), i just enjoy reading about things like this, purely for my own entertainment. Whether its true or not, doesnt bother me lol. I just find it interesting

The only sites were conspiracy sites:
911myths
letsrollforums
v911t (veterans for 911 truth, basically geeks making up shit to scare dumbasses)
Much of the same for Peter Tulley (Except an article by the Gaurdian titles "STEEL THEORY IS CRAP"
No statements from the men, no official documents stating that they're correct. Just more conspiracy bull shit.
Some planes crashed into it, the buildings fell. Why people need to create conspiracies is beyond me.

the bermuda triangle has static and earth magnetic signal problems thats why people disappear there - i cant remember what its called exactly but i'm sure someone can look it up - once you get into that area the earths static that makes your magnetic instruments point back into the center of the area.
so for example if you pass through heading north, once you pass through the middle of the area then your instruments will slowly be turning until they're facing the middle again, which 'looks like' you've gone off course and are heading south, when actually you're going the same way - pilots and ships used to end up going in circles trying to get out but were always pointed back into the middle and so could never leave, eventually ships sank and planes ran out of fuel there - with modern day ships and planes plenty of people have passed through and over the bermuda triangle with no problems at all
as for space going on forever, it doesn't, though it does keep expanding - RE: big bang theory & RE: red shift
as for aliens and shit - no idea
with 911, kerosene would not have to burn hot enough to melt the steel, it would just need to burn long enough and eventually the steel would heat and deform, plus you'd have other things burning there too
the 911 was not a conspiricy, you'd need thousands of people to cover that sort of thing up, and then you'd need none of them to talk, at least one of them would've told their wife/husband or friends, or even in a bar when they're drunk, even the papers would offer them millions for a story like that, and they're suppose to just keep quiet? - and if whoever planned this threatened to kill the people if they said anything then there would be random people disappearing all over the place for accidentally letting it slip out, and how would the people who planned it even knew who let it slip? are they going to keep tabs on everyone for the rest of their lives to make sure they dont give away any 911 secrets? no, the afgans got one over on america and people dont like that so they make up a conspiricy

brains aren't programmed? what does that mean?
if you're thinking in the grand scale then our brains wern't programmed to build cities, fly in the sky or design and create complicated engineering components or anything like that, humans have taught themselves to do it over years, the only 'programming' we have in our brains is for men to fuck women and kill each other, and for women to protect their own babies
as for space, there is no 'end' - the galaxy and all the planets will keep moving away from each other getting slower and slower until eventually, they stop moving away and start to pull themselves back towards each other again using their own gravitational mass - and we all 'suck' back together and collide in the middle, then we all die - the same way strong nuclear forces work in atoms, only on a bigger scale

The sites I have posted have nothing to do with the bermuda triangle, nor do I think everything written on them is correct. I didn't even read what was on that WRH site, I just used it for the maps. Secondly I could just say stop going on sax-p who do these geeks think they are talking like they are top scientists.
The 9/11 conspiracy isn't about whether or not the building was laced with explosives (it wouldn't matter if it was) it's about who was actually responsible for the planes. As some people think/believe that it was actually the USA so they could create a war in the middle east to gain their natural resources. Seeing as there is no evidence of WMDs this does seem to be possible. Then again this is totally a different topic so I won't go in to detail as I could write about 20 pages on the subject without thinking.
As for space, we will never know, at least not in our life time. In theory there could be billions of universes each with billions of galaxies in them (our universe is supposed to have between 200 and 500 billion galaxies inside it). Honestly thinking about it is a mind fuck, every star you see there could be some form of life looking right back at you and another life form could be looking at them.

I did a really weird ouija board when I was young. The name that came out was Chester. Anyway, later on I had to guess the name of something in order to win this prize, a good deal of cash and a holiday.

Forget the 20 pages without thinking. Much better to 'think' and summarise your thoughts in a few concise paragraphs.
Do you think the U.S knew about the plot and let it happen or do you think they orchestrated the entire thing.....?

but i was in bed and heard the van beep.. but he 100% saw someone standing in the window/balcony of his flat..
and just after i got up.. i was playing xbox in his living room... i kept on seeing what was like a little boy.. looking round the corner of the room.. i actually got up and shouted hello and had a walk round the flat... some weird stuff.. lol

Aliens - As others have said, space goes on forever. It would be ignorant of us to think that there is nothing else out there.
Ghosts - Personally, I'll say I believe in them. When I was about 10 I remember waking up in the night needing the toilet. Got out of bed, turned towards the door and I swear I saw a white figure at my door looking at me. I have no idea how long I was looking at it but in the end, I was that scared that I got back into bed and refused to get out. Needless to say, I pissed the bed rather than getting out again.

don't believe in ghosts or stuff like that even though i have had weird "sightings" myself.

This made me laugh, modern ghost lol!
I can't say I've ever had any Wierd experiences though, imo ghosts aren't real and I'll continue to believe that unless I see one which is doubtful. I think its all to do with imagination tbh like children having imaginary friends, I'm not saying people imagine them on purpose but your brain can do wierd things, my ex had schizophrenia and said she saw people in the room on occasion although I couldnt see anything.
As for aliens, surely there's other life out there somewhere but who's knows until there's some actual evidence to support it.

90% of the ghost experiences in this thread have one phrase in common...
They all begin with "when i was a kid".
Show me a down to earth, 45 year old, male architect, who enjoys cycling, poloitics and fine wine who has seen a ghost.
Most people who see or think they've seen ghosts are kids, people deprived of sleep, people on medication, people who have seen disturbing films which have imprinted images into the brain, people who want to believe in them due to an upsetting death, or people who have had hard lives and encountered lots of traumatic experiences and stress.
Now, the above criteria covers a lot of people (probably me), but as i am such a strong minded person i can see how the above may influence me in strange ways, but refuse to allow it to.
I also don't want it to be true if i'm honest...

To add to my arguement, some of you believers may like this:
While i was writing my response, when i wrote the sentence "Most people who see or think they've seen ghosts are kids", when i came to review the text, shortly before clicking "post", it actually read "Most people who see or think they've seen ghosts are ghosts".
It sent shivers down my spine and my brain was trying it's hardest to tell me it was a sign from the spitual world.
Bollocks was it, the word ghost it probably the most used word in this topic so for my brain to process that word above any other is very understandable.
Sorry, i've probably lost everyone here! Lol

I've had a few experiences
some nights when im just drifting off to sleep, ill open my eyes ever so slightyly (i dunno why?) and see the shadowy outline of someone standing next to me bed, or looking right in my face (happens every couple of months)
I often swing out to punch / push them away, or kick out in a panic, it doesnt "haunt me" so much that i cant sleep, coz its happened so many times now, but one or two of the memories have stuck with me
Worst being before i moved from my last house, i was soundo asleep, dead to the world, and for no reason i can explain i woke up, there was clearly some one stood in the corner of my room and shouted "DAN!!" and it sounded abit like my brother..
i was home alone at the time, and when i was fully awake in panic, there was no one there......
My Most recent "experiences".. i work in a really old hotel (The oldest hotel in tenby), the work time table goes up on a wall in a corridor that leads from the kitchen to the main bar (where i work) and its not quite wide enough for 2 people to walk side by side in
I was reading the time table to see what hours i had to do next week when i felt a firm push on my lower back, i moved forward abit thinking it was some one walking passed me, and as i looked over my shoulder to see who it was, there was no one in the corridor..
Theres a flat screen TV in the bar, and the remote goes in a little box on the wall above the bar til, its a 4 sided plastic box, nothing can fall out, other day i put the remote in the box after putting the music channel on, turned round to serve a customer, and the remote tumbled down, hit the til and ended up on the floor, as if some one had picked it up and just let go
The customer i was servring said "What the fuck was that?" he saw the remote just drop from the box
paranormal things dont scare me, i just wish i could understand them more :panic:

Saw a UFO with my mate a couple of years ago. We were sitting waiting on our lift at night, and saw this really fast moving very bright light in the sky. My mate obv saw it the same time as he pointed it out. I thought it was a shooting star as it was going so fast, but then it changed direction at right angles twice, instantly, got brighter then disappeared.
Asked my mate what he saw and he saw the exact same. Very weird.

No such thing as ghosts. If there were why don't we see dead cows everywhere? Or dead flies and the ghosts of our dead pets? Because it's something that's been implanted into our heads at a very young age that we are led to believe.
I believe in the physical, real, scientific shizz
UFO's - unlikely, but I wouldn't rule out completely
Crop circles - again can be explained away in a logical way
Bermuda Triangle - a myth brought about because it has an unusually high accident/disappearance rate. Nothing to do with the fact it is a massive expanse of waterwhich parts are the deepest/most violent in the world.
