depends on overtime etc
i done 19.5 hours overtime this month and come out with £1533 after tax, but can come out with anything from £1300 - £1600 (after tax)
all depends on overtime really.
the pay is decent, but ive allways said that for the graft you have to put in it could do with being better.

Im happy with that.
Yeah my 4hr trial was pretty tiring. Are they 8hr shifts? 5 days a week? i do 12hrs at Walkers 4 days (can change) but if i can get over time not everyweek i can earn 450 a week. Its just getting the overtime, loads of cunts pinch the slots. but my normal wage atm is £300 a week. So 1200-/+ a month. Not too bad i guess.

Monday - Friday 9-5 I work in an payroll office... 2 weeks of the month I sit on the internet and talk to my collegues all day every day. the other 2 weeks I'm rushed off my feet.
Friday Saturday Nights - work in a nightclub in Edinburgh behind the bar. I LOVE bar work and I'm shit hot on the bar - and its well needed extra money
Weekend Days and Week Evenings - Teach horseriding / train and compete horses.
between the bar and teaching I can make 120 + a week on top of my normal monthly wage.

i don't dispute that lol, there was a wing commander at a base I was at that drove a povo spec mk3 fiesta. He was pretty much the highest rank and highest paid man on that base with exception to the station commander yet drove a car worth basically no more than scrap value.
However, the sort of person who would own and modify a saxo is generally a teenager/someone without much money. People who don't care about their car don't modify it and I'd say its a fair assumption that the vast majority of cars on this site are modified.

Ahh yeah, I had a heart murmur when I was 12 and it almost disqualified me from flying. I had to go through quite a few tests to prove I don't have one anymore.
In my early days I flew missions that involved some explosions and carnage. Now I just test the helicopters after they have been repaired.

Unfortunately yes. There is an easier route to take in becoming a rupert(doesnt require a full 4 years of college) which is the route I took. You dont make much money while in the military but once you get out there is a lot to be made as a contractor.

Unfortunately yes. There is an easier route to take in becoming a rupert(doesnt require a full 4 years of college) which is the route I took. You dont make much money while in the military but once you get out there is a lot to be made as a contractor.
Genuinely sounds really good. How long were you in the US military and which force ?
