clutch release bearing

hey just wondering can you fit a 1.4 clutch release bearing to a vts clutch if that makes sense ? my release bearing gone but my clutch is new and i have a new 1.4 one or would i have to buy another

might sound silly but i dont know if the vts bearing will take a tad more punishment than the 1.4

remember these are a basterd to do so if i were you id get the correct one.

im doin a conversion but the vts gearbox is fucked so using my 1.4 one instead ,
the release bearing out the vts is shagged and my 1.4 one is mint there the same size ect just the vts one has two little wing bits either side
