hi all on my 2002 saxo vtr i want to change the steering wheel which as a air bag how do u change it safly and does it make the air bag light come on??

The air bag light will come on,you can either fit a resistor/s take out the light or tape over it.

a resister ??where from to get air bag light off if i buy a sports steering wheel??

there is two 30mm toqures each side of the steering wheel and then it just pulls and there wire on it and it wont go off because i took mine out for a laugh with the ignition on and nuffin happened

Thats just been stupid.
Safer to disconnect the battery 1st then wait about 10mins then do it.

that is totally stupid messing with the airbag without disconnecting the battery, I know its probably not likely to go off but on the off chance that it does and your sitting infront of it with a screwdriver or something in your hand it could end up pretty dangerous.

For a start the torx bolts are t25 & secondly stupid boasting like that will earn you a bad reputation on here.

sorry didnt think i was comin across that way.... but am being serious i didn have my battery disconnected but i didn have the ignition on either
