Basically my bonnet doesn't sit flush & the headlights stick under the bonnet. One side of the bonnet sits flush with the wing but the otherside is raised. Would this be caused by the slam panel being fucked?
It seems a bit bent compared to other pictures of them else, Ive just ordered a new one on ebay anyway so im hoping it will fix the problem but im just double checking to see if anyone else has been in same situation, i searched and found that a warped mk2 slam panel makes the headlights not flush so jw if its same for mk1, Cheers :y:

that car has hit something.
when you have stripped it all down, push/bend back out any other bits which have been affected , like the part under the slam panel on passenger side, also look at the crumple zone on the passenger arch.
i had to re-shape mine after hitting a ford focus, needs doing a bit more as my headlights dont sit right with the grill :(
