hi all i got another problem hope some one can help here its goes
when im coming to a stand still like @ lights the car will rev to around 3000 the only way i can get it down is to leave it in gear and put my foot on clutch and it will drop to around 1000/1200 any one have any idea why ??

Clean the idle control valve mate there is a good guide on here by db_sax. Should help bring the revs down.

ICV is leaking or dirty, clean it with some Carb Cleaner :)

was thinking it might be but how easy are they to take off as my is under the inlet mani do i have to take off the inlet mani here a fleebay picture

or can the icv be clean while still on the car maybe if i can get to the pipes which are coming from the icv is to spray carb cleaner dwn them ?

Mate that eBay link anit your icv.
Clean it 1st....if it don't work
Try euro car parts it's like 30 pounds new.

which is under the inlet mani that got pipes coming from it to the top of the inlet mani if you look @ picture 1 its the pipe to the right the biggest one

follow your throttle cable n that will lead u to it

That's werid I thought all vtr/VTS had the same icv...
I think ur could be the one with the White/orange clip.

Its is the tps. You need to follow the two pipes on the left hand side of the manifold. One of them will be connected to the icv.

That i`m pretty sure is your MAP sensor that`s where they fit them on early mk1`s.:drink:

Yeh that might be it.....because that's what the other guys looked like on his 1.1 Saxo.
Sorry if a confused you, I thought vtr mk1/mk2 had the same icv
