can it be done. ive a few r888's that are unevenly worn want to take 2mm off one side.

there is nowhere local that will do it.

i have thought about switching tyres and running lefts on the right etc... i think some are too worn to do that.

some people from google say electric sander, some say large angle grinder with sanding disc. not sure on these options.

i just use sanding discs, on an airline in work.
whack the tyre on a wheel and clamp it to a changing machine and jsut keep my foot on it, to keep it spinning and hold it against it.

i did it today on the bike too, bike on a stand and let it tick over and rear wheel turns and use long piece of sand paper and rub it over the rubber.

crack on :y:

yeah... places that will do it, will probs use the same kind of method.

electric sander is the easiest option and quickest id day.
just make sure its even.

good point if done badly tyres will need balancing again and risk of flat spots!
