I've cut my mileage down from 18,000 last year to 2,000 this year. I wasn't too upset by the prices (enevitable really) but I've actually not missed the car as much as I thought I would. If the cost of running a motor is getting to you I strongly suggest looking at a bike and being a tramp and skabbin lifts off your mates :-)

Speak for yourself! Veg oil is the way forward!!! I'm now running my 2.8td at practically the same cost as my VTR, cheaper if I factor in the lack of repairs needed to my vehicle compared to my old saxo, and the fact that the insurance is half the price on this than any quote I could get on a car.
