Sorry if this has already been covered but I couldnt find anything on it. Ive just bought a second hand xbox today. I started playing dirt 3 and the screen seems to have faint red lines on it. any ideas whats wrong or how to get rid of them

cables would be the first check.

is it connected using HDMI or ypbrg (w/e)

failing that is the setting correct for your tv?

iirc dashboard - settings -tv.....?

i dont have an xbox or even a console, but faling one of them two things its fucked? :(

Graphics card is broken and/or overheating. Xbox is pretty much fucked, take it back from wherever you bought it from.

This. Mine did the same with PGR3, used to draw random black lines everywhere.

I borrowed a mates to try he said it was fine, ran for a while now it has 3 red lights
