Right, as you all know Modern Warfare 3 is due to release on the 8th November. I do not want to que up at 12am for Game to open to get a copy as im not that sad :p

You can pre-order the game off a few sites like Play & Amazon etc.

Do these companies get the game to your door on the release date?

I've heard people getting the game a day before the release date in some cases, which would be great :A:

Have anyone done this before and got the game in time?

Any help would be appriciated

All depends on the luck of the draw. A few of my mates got their MW2 copies 3days before release date! Obviously, you also hear about delays in postage. Like you say, that's the risk when ordering online. I cued up for black ops on release date, had fuck all else planned for that evening, was not too painstaking I guess. Fuck doing it again on a COD release date though.

Found this website that is meant to be very good with pre-orders:

http://www.shopto.net/XBOX%20360/VIDEO%20GAMES/XB2CA33-Call%20of%20Duty%20Modern%20Warfare%203.html

Does say if you pre-order before a certain date they garante delivery on release date. is it worth it though?

That was with play.com. I got told the reason they done this was because a few supermarket retailers jumped the gun too. So play.com just jumped on the band-wagon, obviously just blaming an admin error. Activision obviously went ape shit.

Im still unsure on who to pre-order from. Probs Tesco as it's the cheapest :y:

Yes, go for the cheapest! And to be honest i'd rather save a few pennies and have it a day late than spend extra for delivery on the day. :)

It doesn't seem to work on my work computer, will try it at home and compare prices.

I have actually ordered it from Tesco Entertainment but I can easily cancel :)

Pre-Ordering Games

sod that, I pay when I see the product in front of me. Especially since some are more expensive than others so I will have a look around before buying, often found more than £20 -25 difference between shops especially after a few weeks from the release date.
